2025: Arenadata DB DBMS License Delivery
REU named after G.V. Plekhanova and Arenadata signed a cooperation agreement. The partnership will aim to train students to work with Arenadata products, provide the necessary tools and educate teachers. Arenadata announced this on May 16, 2025.
As part of the agreement, Arenadata transferred licenses to the university to Arenadata DB (ADB) for student education. The product is used at the stand of the Department of Applied Informatics and Information Security. On it, students can work with a real set of data, modeling the processes that occur in the infrastructure of companies. This approach gives students the opportunity to gain practical skills in working with Arenadata DBMS, which they can apply in their future career. As the associate professor of the department Natalya Seredenko clarifies, about 150 students in the disciplines "Banking Information and Analytical Systems," "Information and Analytical Systems" and "Design of Information and Analytical Systems" will take part in the training annually.
The second area of cooperation is the training of teachers of the PRUE named after G.V. Plekhanov at the Arenadata Training Center. The program will include the basics of working with ADB and in the future - with other tools of the Group. Courses will help teachers better master technology, learn about their practical application in business and more effectively transfer knowledge to students.
{{quote 'author=noted Sergey Zolotarev, founder and director of strategic development of Arenadata. | CDO should be able to meet business needs with technology. To do this, on the one hand, he needs to understand the goals and objectives of the business, on the other hand, to offer the right tool for their effective solution. Within the framework of our partnership with the Plekhanov REU, we just want to provide management students with the opportunity to study approaches to data analysis and products in this area. We are confident that this will help them become in-demand specialists who can not only understand technical aspects, but also integrate them into business strategies,}}
