2025: Mobile App Launch

Norbit has developed and launched a mobile application of Ingilor Park for the Polar Ural Autonomous Non-Profit Organization, which organizes tourist infrastructure and routes of one of the nature reserves of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. For 10 months, a digital service has been created on the basis of iOS and Android, which will allow you to travel conveniently and safely: get permission to visit and navigate the area without the Internet. Norbit announced this on September 11, 2025.

In the application, you can save a specific route in advance, issue an official pass - individual, group, for a car. The service provides a detailed map created by NORBIT specialists with information on the landscape of the area, key attractions, the length and complexity of tourist trails. It also works offline. A catalog of ready-made tours from different operators with programs, photos and filtering by group composition and type of activity is also collected - users will be able to book any of them directly.

During the development, the NORBIT team concentrated as much as possible not only on functionality, but also on security issues. The application fixes the GPS coordinates of the tourist. When an emergency occurs, the traveler can use the SOS button, which allows the rescue services to transfer the exact coordinates of the location.

As of September 2025, the application is integrated with the internal services and the website of the Department of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. In addition, access to the online cameras of the Salekhard-Labytnangi ferry crossing is configured. In the near future, it is planned to improve the accuracy of maps, add weather and aurora forecasts, launch an audio guide, and give users the opportunity to share reviews and rate.

The launch was an important step for the nature park and our entire team. We choose modern approaches to be closer to our guests and provide them with convenient tools for interacting with the Polar Ural. We are proud that Ingilor became the first reserve in the region to introduce such technologies. It inspires new ideas and fresh solutions for continuous improvement,
said Ekaterina Shmeleva, head of the marketing and services department of the Center for Tourism Development in the Polar Urals.

We have created a service that works where there is no internet, but there is a harsh and beautiful nature. Offline maps, tracking and emergency alerts are not just functions, but additional security for tourists. We implemented everything on our own, from design to launch in storks, relying on expertise in the development of complex mobile solutions. For us, this is a really important initiative, and not only in terms of experience and technical know-how, but also as an opportunity to contribute to the popularization and development of tourism in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug,
noted Elizaveta Meledina, director of business development at NORBIT.
