Sibur together with iCore implemented the system of telepresence at Tomsk

On the Tomsk production of the SIBUR the innovation system of telepresence is put into operation, reported on January 9, 2019 in iCore company. The command consisting of the staff of the SIBUR and iCore worked on the project.

Project Progress

The team of specialists of iCore helped to start the complex project on telepresence system implementation: performed supply of equipment, performed the accompanying all-construction and repair works indoors, made installation and connection of a system to communication lines, prepared work and executive documentation and also provided training of employees of the IT block. The project was executed in the shortest possible time, from start to the finish there passed only 6 weeks.

We are glad that implemented the system and significant project for such progressive customer as the SIBUR. It is that case when the level of technology progress is hardly in time behind requirements of dynamic business. Composition

The system of telepresence TelePresence consists of several elements: 3 screens which are completely occupying by themselves one of walls of the meeting room, a cluster of the cameras located on the center for creation of more realistic picture and the high-quality audio system.

Working in synthesis, modern audio and a video equipment and LED panels with support of format 4K create "effect of presence". Extremely accurate audio delivery, much more realistic and volume, than in systems with space stereophonic sounding, is reached due to technology of Polycom 3D Voice, told in iCore. Wide diagonal of screens in 84 inches gives the chance to connect to participation in a meeting up to 9 people in each of rooms, at the same time the image of each of them will be displayed full-scale.

The design of the premises is executed in the uniform concept of the systems of telepresence of the SIBUR that allows to create a unified communication environment with effect of personal presence even if employees are in different offices of holding.

Project Results

The system of telepresence at the company allows to accelerate workflows as in the field of production, and management decisions. For us it is not the image project available only to top managers, and an opportunity to make communication between employees on different platforms is more productive. Due to use of digital technologies a system also helps to reduce time and finance costs by sending of employees, in case of need personal presence on SIBUR platforms for carrying out important negotiations — Andrey Burlutsky, the CEO of Sibur of IT LLC noted.

According to him, for January, 2019 in holding five systems are started, at the same time it is going to implement two more.
