Power Machines completed placement of software environment of SAP ERP

On October 22, 2013 the Jet Infosystems company announced delivery to Power Machines concern of the unified IT platform for functioning of SAP ERP.

Project Task

Need of creation of the computer system for SAP ERP is connected with need of implementation of the centralized ERP system at the enterprises of Power Machines concern. According to the results of the held tender the project was entrusted by Jet Infosystems companies.

Project Progress

For functioning of databases used the IBM Power servers with the built-in virtualization. Operation of applications was ensured by the servers of IBM of x86 virtualized by means of VMware.

The project is begun in 2010 with creation of the computer system in DPC of the LMP plant (St. Petersburg). Project deadlines had tight restrictions therefore infrastructure was created in parallel with ERP system deployment. Debugging and software testing it was conducted along with installation and performed on the leased equipment. The working environment of SAP was moved to the created IT platform.

Replication of the solution at Kaluga Turbine Plant and the Taganrog kotlostroitelny plant "Red Coppersmith" became the next stage. Such approach helped to reduce investments into development and to develop the general standards on maintenance of an IT complex.

For October 22, 2013 the computer system ensures smooth operation of the SAP ERP system at all enterprises of concern.
