Thanks to professionalism of staff of TopLog company integrator and functionality of the warehouse management system TopLog WMS all business processes of a warehouse of Power Supply Systems and Technologies manufacturing enterprise are automated.

Power Supply Systems and Technologies LLC is the Russian producer of lighting products, light sources, lamps and batteries and also one of the leading distributors of power sources in the domestic market. The company makes products under the brands Camelion, Ergolux, Ultraflash, VOLSTEN, Ergolux and implements products of a number of the famous western producers. Wholesale and piece orders are shipped to shops and retail chain stores in the territory of Moscow, the Moscow region and to other regions of Russia.

Integration of the TopLog WMS system was carried out in a warehouse of the customer of 7,200 sq.m in the Moscow region. For WMS solution launch in commercial operation the range of the company made 2,200 SKU, for June, 2020 the nomenclature contains more than 4,000 names. All products are placed on storage on frontal racks and on the mezzanine.

Before implementation of the modern and hi-tech TopLog WMS system in a warehouse of the customer other WMS system from the known Russian IT company was used. But its opportunities did not satisfy fully to requirements of the control directive with a warehouse. Also previous WMS was excessively costly owing to need of permanent completions under features of business of the enterprise.

To top management of Power Supply Systems and Technologies LLC the solution with extensive functionality which would allow to accelerate as much as possible accomplishment of all warehouse workflows as at the level of an individual employee, and a warehouse in general was required. A system from TopLog company, the managing director already of more than 180 warehouses in the territory of Russia and the CIS countries became such solution.

During control automation the warehouse logistics of the customer considered the following features of work of division:

• During product acceptance its distribution by two parts of a warehouse – on the main squares and the mezzanine is performed;
• Load of a warehouse during the working day and depending on days of the week has uneven indicators, as on entering, and to an outgoing trade flow;
• Heterogeneity of orders for shipment: shipment at own expense or delivery, piece and wholesale orders, use of different options of packaging;
• In a warehouse the paper technology of work together with application of the shipping documentation is used.

During the course of performance the project specialists TopLog carried out integration of TopLog WMS with CIS of the customer – 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management (management of manufacturing enterprise).

Thanks to the choice of more modern and effective WMS system the warehouse of Power Supply Systems and Technologies company received the tool on management of warehouse logistics. Speed of accomplishment of warehouse transactions increased, the accuracy and quality of assembly of orders is maximized. Control over accomplishment of warehouse transactions became more transparent and is more available, thanks to convenient reporting system.

The solution TopLog WMS allowed to cut down expenses on completions of a warehouse management system as their most part just was not necessary – even the initial feature set of the new WMS system met all needs of the customer. And in need of it to expand, it is always possible to connect add-on modules in WMS.
