InStock Technologies implemented a warehouse management system in Profitmed

The InStock Technologies company announced on March 26, 2019 system implementation of management of a warehouse in Profitmed Ltd company. The basis of a system was formed by development of InStock Technologies — InStock WMS.

Tasks

The warehouse of the company is in Kotelniki of the Moscow region and is a part of a system of the warehouse Profitmed complexes. The WMS system had to meet requirements of each of warehouses of the company. It was required to support the effective methods of placement and selection developed by specialists Profitmed in a system.

Profitmed is feature of a warehouse of pharmaceutical products selection of large volume of small-pieces goods, in change can be processed up to 50 thousand lines. It was necessary to increase the speed of process of goods acceptance, its selection, control and preparation for shipment.

Results

When processing pharmaceutical goods it is necessary to consider from acceptance before shipment a set of parameters, including such as batch, series, temperature condition, expiration date, etc. According to these parameters the InStock WMS system manages merchandising in a warehouse and keeps accurate accounting of a trade inventory in real time.

According to InStock Technologies, the InStock WMS system in the warehouse "Profitmed", managing orders, can select for different consignees goods without a series, a specific series or except for certain series, consider date of production and create the order in accordance with the terms of agreements on a residual expiration date and also consider a set of other conditions imposed by requirements of consignees.

Integration of the ERP system with InStock WMS includes the elements executed on web services in order that the manager, working with the client, could create in real time the order for the series ready to selection, or for specific series. On a response of the customer, as a result of start running the InStock WMS system of the warehouse "Profitmed" in Kotelniki it was succeeded to achieve the accuracy of accounting of merchandising and necessary speed of accomplishment of business processes.

The next step plans implementation of the remained warehouses of Profitmed company in other cities.
