The publication could not find out why the pharmaceutical distributor abruptly stopped paying its counterparties. Experts interviewed by Vedomosti say that Profitmed is unlikely to be able to pay off creditors. According to the company's latest financial statements, over the past year, the size of its assets decreased by 30%, and revenue fell by 20%, said Alexey Sharov, managing partner of Averty group. Elena Gladysheva, managing partner of the RI Consulting law firm, also speaks about this. She draws attention to the fact that at the end of 2022, Profitmed recorded a net loss.

Among the founders of Profitmed by the beginning of 2023 were Dmitry and Olga Svirin, FC Profit Houzz (one of its founders is Viktor Kharitonin), Chairman of the Board of Directors of the pharmaceutical distributor Evgeny Strigas and others. By May 2023, the company's shareholders are hidden. The official website of Profitmed does not work, the company does not respond to media requests.[1]

On March 29, 2023, it became known that the Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow arrested all the property of the pharmaceutical distributor Profitmed and its co-founder Dmitry Svirin.

The court granted the petition of Sberbank, arresting the medicines, forklift and equipment of Profitmeda, which is pledged by the bank. In addition, Svirin's property was arrested: two apartments in Moscow and the Moscow region, two parking spaces, land in the Ramensky district of the Moscow region with a total area of more than 10 thousand square meters and three houses. Svirin's shares in Verkhauz SPb LLC (manages a warehouse in St. Petersburg; entrepreneur owns 23%), Nashotel LLC (manages the hotel of the same name in St. Petersburg; Svirin has 22.37%), OOO Otelmanatsiya (23%), ZAO Verkhaus Nord (50%), JSC FC Profit House (share not indicated), ZAO Fin BEST (owns LLC Profitpab, managing the Stairs bar on Petrovka in Moscow).

Profitmed tried to appeal the court decision, but it was upheld. A bankruptcy procedure has already been initiated against the pharmaceutical distributor. Aresbank demands through the court to release these funds and remove the arrest from part of the goods, which are also pledged. In addition, Profitmed owes 282.4 million rubles to the pharmaceutical company Polisan, which in February 2023 secured the arrest of these funds in the distributor's accounts.
