2024: Implementation of "1C: Holding Management 8 "
Progress Agro is one of the largest agricultural companies in the South of Russia, known for its achievements in the field of genetics, deep grain processing and digitalization of agribusiness. Among the company's innovative projects is the creation and implementation of a unique technology for transplanting cow embryos, which has significantly increased the profitability of dairy farming. In turn, the company strives to improve all aspects of its activities, including the automation of management and accounting processes. In this context, the company contacted ERP Band to implement and adapt the standard 1C: Holding Management of 8 solution.
Project objectives
The main task of the project was to automate the process of forming consolidation and transformation adjustments, which until then were carried out manually, which took a long time and was at risk of errors. In the context of a holding with 20 organizations producing about 300 reports every day, an important aspect was a significant reduction in manual labor and an increase in the accuracy of data for management reporting. Specific tasks:
- Automate the calculation of effective interests for the group structure.
- Integration with the AM-System. Loan Portfolio Management "to upload loan data for the purpose of reclassifying items.
- Provides automatic validation of report data to eliminate calculation errors.
- Reduce dependency on manual adjustments and minimize user errors.
Solution Architecture and Implementation
The solution was implemented on the basis of 1C: Holding Management 8 with adaptation of the standard functionality to the customer's specific requirements.
- Development of effective interest calculation: the method of interest calculation for all holding organizations was set up, which ensured the automatic reflection of these data in financial statements and reduced the need for manual information entry.
- Integration with the AM-System: a solution was developed to automatically upload loan data from an external system for subsequent reclassification of items. This made it possible to eliminate repeated manual operations, improving the accuracy of the data.
- Reporting adaptation: The project set up instances of reports with automatic data validation, which reduced the risk of calculation errors and ensured the accuracy of financial statements. A mechanism for automatic reporting for various holding organizations was also set up.
- Optimization of data consolidation: the project included setting up the procedure for consolidating data from 20 organizations, which significantly reduced the time for writing monthly reports and reduced the burden on accounting.
Project uniqueness
The project for Progress Agro LLC was an example of successful adaptation of a standard solution for complex and specific agribusiness problems. One of the main features of the implementation was the integration of an external system for automatic loading and processing of data, which made it possible to completely eliminate manual data transfer operations and minimize errors. As a result, it was possible not only to speed up the processes, but also to increase the accuracy of all calculations.
In addition, the project showed the successful implementation of comprehensive automation for a holding consisting of many organizations, which is usually a difficult task due to the need to coordinate and standardize accounting at different levels.
Project results
After the implementation of the 1C: Holding Management 8 system, Progress Agro achieved the following significant results:
- Reduced reporting time: Due to the automation of effective interest calculation and integration with external systems, a significant number of manual operations were eliminated. As a result, reporting time has decreased, and the accuracy of the data has increased significantly.
- Automation of consolidation and transformation adjustments: These operations are now performed automatically, reducing errors by improving the reliability of financial statements.
- Reducing labor costs: Automating data loading and processing has significantly reduced labor costs, which in turn has allowed staff to focus on more important tasks.
- Flexibility of reporting: a set of reports was implemented for 20 holding organizations, including about 50 types of reporting, which ensured the rapid and accurate consolidation of data for all organizations.
The implementation of the project to automate accounting and reporting for Progress Agro LLC made it possible to significantly increase the efficiency of the holding, minimize the risks of errors and significantly speed up reporting processes. As a result of the implementation of the standard solution 1C: Holding Management 8, the company has a reliable basis for further growth and development, as well as the ability to quickly respond to changes in the business environment.
