RDTECH executes the largest project on creation of the data warehouse for Prominvestbank (Ukraine)

The "Joint-stock Commercial Industrial Investment Bank" public joint stock company (Prominvestbank), one of the leading banks of Ukraine, creates the corporate data warehouse and reporting system on the basis of a complex of analytical solutions of Oracle for performance management of financial institutions. The contractor of the project - RDTECH company.

Tasks

In the summer of 2010 PJSC JSB Prominvestbank announced competition on creation of the corporate data warehouse and reporting system. It is possible to call the project for the bank industry of Ukraine unprecedented as except creation of the comprehensive data warehouse for bank, project tasks include creation of all necessary reporting systems and analytical modules: the obligatory reporting before the National Bank of Ukraine, managerial, the reporting under the IFRS standards, risk management, budgeting and financial planning.

According to the choice of bank the storage will be under construction on the basis of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) - the new version of a complex of analytical solutions of Oracle for performance management of financial institutions. For Ukraine, Russia and the CIS countries this project will become one of the first examples of large-scale deployment of OFSAA for the solution of a broad spectrum of business challenges of bank.

Implementation Progress

The general contractor selects the RDTECH company having considerable experience of implementation of data warehouses in financial institutions of Russia and the CIS. The project team includes Borlas-Ukraine and Oracle Consulting. The project is expected two and a half years.

Prominvestbank automates process of preparation of the obligatory reporting before the National Bank of Ukraine that significantly reduced terms of its preparation and excluded the errors arising at alternative approaches to its drawing up.
