YouDo.com implemented remote identification of passport data with the help Sum&Substance

2017: Automation of check of contractors of YouDo

On November 17, 2017 the Sum&Substance company announced that contractors of the Russian online service household and business services of YouDo will be able to use function of identification and remote confirmation of the personal data using the solution IDensic. It will allow YouDo.com to optimize work on check of new users.

Project Objectives

For YouDo.com check of contractors was always the most important part of operating activities. However manual processes of identification take a lot of time and are extremely labor-intensive. In addition, they require essential investments in the security system, necessary, according to the Russian legislation, all companies which process personal data. Verification processes of contractors decided to automate YouDo.com and together with the IDensic platform expect to begin quickly and with a high accuracy to check documents (the passport, driver's licenses and the Insurance Number of Individual Ledger Account) for authenticity.

How it works

Authentication of data will be automatic using a set of technologies now — computer vision, intelligent data analysis on the basis of neural networks and other algorithms of machine learning with observance of all regulations of security and the Russian legislation. For passing of identification procedure and verification it will be necessary to send the digital image of the passport and the second document to a system: the car driver license or the Insurance Number of Individual Ledger Account at choice. At first this option will be available only on the website, but in 1-2 months it will be possible to confirm the personality and through mobile application.

Test mode

From 5 p.m. on November 16, 2017 a system began work on YouDo.com in the test mode. Individual offers to provide documents then they will be able to receive the status "The Checked Contractor" on check and to take higher positions in ratings will be sent to a small amount of contractors. In December, upon termination of the test period, the procedure will become available to all users and is obligatory for new contractors. Profiles of the acting users who did not submit documents will be mentioned by the icons "Unchecked Contractor". Until the end of 2017 the company is going to enter on service voluntary check and for customers.

Function of check of contractors

Besides, service will start function of check of contractors at which comparison of images will happen to the help of the mobile phone of the user — without data transmission in clouds or other storage systems. For check it is necessary to point the front camera of phone at the person that the program verified the image on the screen with the photo in earlier loaded document (passport). In future YouDo.com is going to add also function of check of contractors — legal entities and SP within the B2B-direction. Development of Sum&Substance company will also become technical solution.
