2025: Implementation of the Resource Management System

The IBS team within the timeframe has implemented a comprehensive resource management system (ERP) on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform at the Northern Capital Air Gate company (Pulkovo airport operator). The implementation of the project was Pulkovo's final step towards technological independence from foreign vendors. 1C announced this on September 15, 2025.

Previously, a foreign information system was used to manage the main business processes of the airport. In order to reduce dependence on foreign software and further develop corporate systems, the company decided to switch to a domestic ERP platform, as well as introduce a specialized module for automating equipment maintenance and repair processes (MR). To solve the tasks, the 1C:ERP Enterprise Management system was chosen. IBS has become an implementation partner.

The complete replacement of the foreign system with a domestic solution was completed in just a year. The project started in October 2023, and from January 1, 2025, the decision was put into commercial operation.

The implemented information system based on 1C includes the following functional subsystems: financial management, contract management, real estate management, sales accounting, logistics, and MR.

Maintenance and MRO management uses its own IBS solution implemented on 1C:Enterprise 8 platform - Industrial Asset Management System (EAM) on the 1C: Enterprise 8 platform (IBS EAM Module). The solution finalized during the project takes into account the specifics of the equipment of different airport services. To ensure more complete data accounting and analysis, the module is integrated with the company's existing information systems. Fault tolerance of tools for accounting in the field of aviation equipment control and MR is provided by dividing into operational and financial circuits.

Key Project Deliverables:

• The implemented ERP system covers more than 70 divisions of the airport, optimizes the processes of financial and accounting, resource planning, real estate management, maintenance and repair of special equipment and equipment, as well as simplifies work with tenants and airlines.
• The IBS EAM module allows you to quickly obtain accurate data on the state of equipment, vehicles, equipment, buildings and structures, plan maintenance and repairs, justify the need for resources for M&R in accordance with the forecast, reserve materials and spare parts for specific works, as well as track the actual data on the work performed and then transfer to the financial unit to reflect costs.
• The system not only automates key business processes, but also lays the foundation for the formation of more flexible tariffs and new services.

In the context of growing passenger traffic, the first priority for us is to improve the safety and quality of service. We decided to completely switch to an ERP system with a specialized module on the 1C: Enterprise platform.
