"Cinimex" helped Raiffeisenbank to upgrade software of an automated workplace of the client of the Bank of Russia to the new version

2019: Automated workplace software updating of the client of the Bank of Russia

On July 16, 2019 in Cinimex company announced what in Raiffeisenbank in a test stage was upgraded by the project on transition to the latest version of the software of a complex of the Automated workplace of the client of the Bank of Russia of KBR-N.

Prerequisites

Two years ago the Central Bank informed banks on need of transition to the latest version of an automated system of exchange of electronic documents according to a set of the unified formats of electronic bank messages (UFEBM). According to the letter of the Interregional information processing center of BR, a system should provide the signature of messages according to requirements of the regulator. Need of measures is connected with vulnerability of the present system confirmed with claims of embezzlement via the automated workplace of KBR. Transition process, according to requirements, should be complete till June 28, 2019.

Project Progress

Raiffeisenbank started transfer of signing of the electronic messages (EM) from the automated workplace of the client of the Central Bank in the automated banking system (ABS) at the end of 2017. In the same time the command of Cinimex company started project works of the customer.

The solution of Cinimex company includes two main parts: the module of validation/signing of messages by three possible options of protection of Unified format of electronic banking messages and the automated workplace of management and control over operation of this module. Upon the demand of the customer the solution is implemented for the Windows platform in the form of separate service.Net with a sufficient performance for signing of both separate messages, and packets from them. The automated workplace is executed on Angular 5 + Spring in the form of the branded web application. Taking into account the built-in role model it can manage a configuration of working modules, control a status of entrance and output flows, fix the facts of errors and display the relevant information to the administrator in the Real time mode — Maxim Matrenichev, the associate director on work with key clients and partners told.

The biggest complexity for development team was provided by a solution test procedure.

In fact, testing could be made only according to one scenario at which a response part was available only to banks according to the tough schedule and was in the Bank of Russia. Before transfer to the customer we could debug the code only algorithmically, independently it was impossible to fulfill a real test case. But we coped — the leading manager of projects of Cinimex company Vladimir Kryukov noted.

According to Dmitry Generalov, the product manager of department of management of families of applications of Raiffeisenbank, the errors revealed during tests in crypto - the module had no critical character (for example, the message format in a benchmark package, etc. changed).

Based on tests our users still had several wishes to an automated workplace, for example, on improvement of its interface and service functionality which as specialists of "Cinimex" assured, will be implemented in the shortest possible time — Generalov told.

In general it is expected that readiness to start without delay fulfillment of requirements of the Bank of Russia from Raiffeisenbank and efficiency in the choice of the solution from specialists of Cinimex company should allow the customer to upgrade to the latest version of software of an automated workplace of KBR-N routinely.
