2021: Transition to P7-Office
The Regional Center for Information Technology of the Stavropol Territory on July 26, 2021 announced the start of cooperation with the developer of the Russian office software "R7-Office." The use of this solution by the center's employees made the institution's work completely independent of the licensing policy of foreign developers, while reducing the adaptation period of staff to a minimum, without losing functionality.
The transition to a domestic solution took place as part of the process of implementing the import substitution program. The decision to transfer employees was made based on the results of testing with the participation of one of the departments of the institution.
When choosing software, we needed to find a balance between several criteria at once. We needed programs that would easily stand on any OS, read files of all formats, and at the same time would not require a retraining course and would not cost us a fortune. R7-Office closed all these needs, "commented Alexey Pisarenko, head of the information support department of the GKU SK" Regional Center for Information Technologies. " |
We developed P7-Office as a full-fledged set of office solutions with which Russian companies receive functionality and quality familiar from popular foreign solutions, while becoming independent of licensing policy and support for their developers. Our customers receive not just a set of applications, but a fully functional and compatible package of office software with all file formats, the transition to which does not require large monetary and resource investments, and the period of adaptation to it is minimal, "said Natalia Agafonova, General Director of NKT JSC. |
