Reksoft carried out SAM audit

On July 26, 2016 the Softline company announced project completion of the complex analysis of license compliance (SAM) and to management of licenses of the software of Microsoft for the non-productive environment in Reksoft company.

For the customer as Microsoft partner, observance of license policy is important. Within the project it was required to obtain complete and reliable information about the available IT assets of vendor, assessment of the operating IT tools and the politician of management of a non-productive environment^[1].

Project Progress

Specialists of the contractor carried out the analysis of license compliance by means of Microsoft Assessment and Planning Tool (MAP). During audit the SAM command of Softline developed the inventory program and the control list of questions on lifecycle of a non-productive environment. According to the results of audit recommendations about optimization development media control strategies are developed.

Project Results

Specialists Softline carried out verification of license compliance of the desktop systems working under management Microsoft Windows, databases Microsoft SQL, office applications. In total 209 workstations and 26 servers were inventoried. As a result we managed to define optimal licensing taking into account business challenges and to make the list of the software recommended for acquisition.
