2021: Transfer of inventory to "1C:ERP Enterprise Management"
The Samara branch of 1C Rarus transferred the warehouse accounting of the Rimera Group of Companies to 1C:ERP Enterprise Management. This was announced on October 6, 2022 by 1C-Rarus. This allowed to increase the accuracy of inventory accounting by 10%, while the introduction of data collection terminals increased the speed of inventory of warehouses by 3 times.
The Rimera Group of Companies unites enterprises of Russian oil engineering, as well as a network of service centers in the oil-producing regions of Russia.
Within the framework of the company's policy, business processes were digitalized by creating a single IT landscape based on 1C software products. When the management faced the issue of creating a unified information base for automation of the central warehouse, the 1C:ERP Enterprise Management system was chosen, the typical functionality of which included the capabilities necessary for the enterprise: automation of warehouse operations, use of shipping documentation, barcoding and address storage.
The implementation of the project began with the central warehouse of the Rimera Alnas plant, which produces electric centrifugal pumps for oil production, submersible electric motors with increased voltage, gas separators, and hydraulic protection. There is a need to introduce targeted storage of commodity assets (materials) using software hardware: bar coding and data collection terminals (shipping documentation terminals). It was not possible to apply the FIFO principle when issuing materials that take into account the priority of shipping the goods that came first, taking into account the shelf life. Traceability of goods movements in warehouses was difficult.
The system was put into operation 15.11.2021 20 workplaces were automated.
