2022: Automation of personnel accounting and payroll

The specialists of the Samara branch of 1C-Rarus completed the automation of personnel accounting and payroll for more than 3,700 employees in the Rimera Group of Companies. With  the help of 1C: Payroll and Management 8 KORP system,  3 disparate systems are combined into a single information environment that ensures uninterrupted, fast and efficient operation of payroll, personnel, management, and regulated accounting processes. This was announced by 1C-Rarus on June 15, 2022.

The Rimera Group of Companies includes enterprises, Russian oil mechanical engineering as well as a network of service centers in key ones. oil-producing regions of Russia Rimera Group of Companies unites large manufacturers of equipment for oil production in the Eastern Hemisphere and produces more than 150 pump modifications, 70 engine modifications, over 3,500 options for completing oil submersible equipment, including for operation on a complicated stock. The company's management decided to modernize the information system in terms of personnel accounting and payroll calculation in order to speed up and simplify the collection and formation of internal and regulated reporting, speed up the calculation of wages, and introduce uniform corporate standards for the motivation and development of employees within the group of companies. To solve the assigned tasks, the information system "1C: Payroll and HR Management  8 KORP," ed. 3.1, was chosen. The implementation partner was 1C-Rarus  in Samara, which has extensive experience in automating payroll and personnel processes at large enterprises.

Results of implementation of KORP 1S:ZUP  in Rimera Group of Companies:

  • A single information system has been created that combines three previously disparate databases. In an extremely short time, the transition from historical systems for automating personnel accounting and payroll calculation of three legal entities of Rimera Group of Companies to  1C: Payroll and HR Management of 8 CORP was implemented without losing functionality.
  • The payroll and personnel accounting processes within the group of companies are standardized.
  • Automatized calculation of charges that were previously considered outside the system (one-time charges, bonuses).
  • Automatizing reports that were previously generated in spreadsheets freed up specialist resources for other functional tasks. Previously, data for branch reporting was manually summarized, and reports  could not be sent to regulatory authorities directly from the information system.
  • Reduced labor costs in settlement units up to 25%, due to automation of manual charges and facilitation of reporting, personal income tax, insurance in a single database.
  • The functionality of the staff schedule is based on the peculiarities of the enterprise, the approach to motivation of the group of companies has been unified, a mechanism for calculating the annual motivation bonus with uploading data into the accounting system has been developed.
  • Support of the unified system began to take less time from  the customer's IT specialists than support of three databases of disparate IE, which had differences in revision in terms of payroll calculation and personnel accounting. Up to 20% of the technical support time has been released, resources have been redirected to the development of the system - automation of additional reporting forms and processes.
  • The security of personal data is increased  by allocating accounting into a separate database with limited user access.
  • The base for creating a single division for payroll and personnel accounting for the entire group of companies has been set up.
  • Users and technicians note the convenience, flexibility of configuration and ease of use in this system.

The previous IP did not allow solving current problems on time, as it lagged behind   other solutions in the speed of support and updates. The transition to KORP 1S:ZUP helped to solve not only this problem, but also  to increase the efficiency of the units. We standardized payroll processes, combined information from three disparate databases into one single one. The assigned tasks during the project were solved, despite the difficulties of remote work. External factors did not affect the quality and timing of the implementation due to the coordinated work of the project team. We are fully satisfied with the results of the project,
noted Barsukov Anton Viktorovich, director of digital transformation of Rimera Group of Companies.
