Pavel Astakhov, the head of department of competence of business applications of department of IT of Rolf group, noted that the need which aggravated in the conditions of rapid growth of the company to understand structure of services became an incentive to implementation of resource and service model and to simplify calculation of their cost value. The accounting and control of assets automated using the software solution of Omninet company allows to estimate, according to Astakhov, what there is a cost value of each service of, to receive a detailed picture of utilization of assets for reference of finance costs on services and to analyze influence of separate elements — program and hardware components and human resources — on providing service in general.

Background

Implementation of control over IT assets for ROLF Group is caused by need of creation of harmonious structure of IT services and also solutions of a number of the tasks affecting efficiency of functioning of all enterprises of Group. In particular, optimization of labor input of calculation of cost and consumption of IT services, difficulties of collecting and information analysis, elimination of discrepancy of data of asset management and configuration management and considerable labor input of reconciliation became priorities.

On June 20, 2011 the OMNINET company announced successful application of the intelligent software solution OMNITRACKER for implementation of process of management of configurations and Assets of ROLF group.
