The video surveillance system was manufactured and developed by the Rastr Industrial Television Research Institute (part of Roselectronics). The equipment transmits the video signal to the control panel and archives the image. With the help of special software, the operator can change the camera settings: scale, exposure, white balance and contrast.

The digital video camera included in the complex is protected by a two-circuit water-cooled stainless steel casing, which allows the equipment to continuously operate under high temperatures. To prevent dust and flame from entering the glass of the video camera, the space in front of it is blown with compressed air. In the event of an abnormal situation, for example, disconnection of water, air supply or power, light and sound alarms are turned on, and the camera is automatically output from the high-temperature zone.

The Western Siberian Metallurgical Plant produces steel reinforcement used in the construction of roads and buildings, as well as railway and tram rails. The production capacity of the plant is 8 million tons of steel per year.
