At the end of April, 2020 it became known of creation of a space technology system by Roskosmos for monitoring of the emergencies (E). 7.5 billion rubles are selected for this project, Interfax with reference to materials of the website of state procurements reports.
The purpose of accomplishment of SCh ROC [component of developmental work] is creation of a space complex of ensuring survey monitoring of technogenic and natural emergencies in the territory of the Russian Federation and a space system on its basis — it is specified in technical specifications. |
According to the document, the contractor undertakes to create two complexes — "Kanopus-V" and Kanopus-Waugh. They will be put into operation to the middle of 2025.
- "Kanopus-V" it is intended for operational monitoring of technogenic and natural emergencies;
- Kanopus-Waugh will perform "survey observation" of the territory of Russia.
According to tender conditions, functioning of the space segment (SS) should be performed using navigation systems GLONASS and GPS. At the same time deniability from use of the navigation GPS field by operational need without deterioration in target characteristics of KS should be provided.
Problems of a complex include carrying out shooting of preset areas of Earth, obtaining large-format images, image acquisition of the Earth's surface on average and distant Infrared ranges.
By the end of April, 2020 in space grouping of Emercom of Russia there are eight satellites of domestic production. Besides, department uses data of eight foreign satellites and also has an opportunity in case of large-scale accidents to use information more than from 40 satellites — participants of the International Charter on space and large accidents.</ref>Roskosmos will create a monitoring system of emergencies for 7.5 billion rubles</ref>
