On March 25, 2020 Rostec announced the beginning of production of the Russia's first ultrasonography devices of an expert class with domestic software. It is about the Ruscan 50, Ruscan 60 and Ruscan of 60 New models which are issued together with NPO Skaner at the Kalugapribor enterprise of Avtomatika concern. In the equipment Samsung Medison technologies are used.
Our equipment is created using the latest technologies and is not inferior in anything to foreign analogs … Capacities of our enterprise allow to produce up to 3 thousand devices a year, – the chief executive of Rostec Group Oleg Yevtushenko said. |
The beginning of deliveries of the Ruscan 50, Ruscan 60 and Ruscan of 60 New ultrasonography scanners to medical institutions is planned for the end 2020. By March 25 devices undergo the procedure of obtaining registration certificates.
The project is implemented within the federal projects "Fight Against Cardiovascular Diseases" and "Fight against Oncological Diseases", said in the message of Rostec. According to Oleg Yevtushenko, project implementation allows to resolve issues of import substitution and to meet demand for the modern medical and diagnostic equipment in Russia.
Earlier in 2020 the head of Strategic development department and the corporate policy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexey Uchenov reported that during implementation of national projects it is going to buy not less than a half of domestic products – for 3.2 trillion rubles from 6.2 trillion, at the same time as the target indicator for defense industry enterprises the digit in 1.4 trillion rubles is set.
Earlier Rostec localized pilot lot "Ruscan 50", "60" and "Ruscan of 60 new" and delivered Ruscan devices in clinics of Moscow, Tula, Vladivostok, Veliky Novgorod, Tatarstan, the Nizhny Novgorod, Tyumen, Moscow regions and other regions.[1]
