Rostelecom joined the EDO by the NAC Informzaschita

2022: Connection to the EDM

The National Certification Center "Informzaschita" implemented a project to connect PJSC Rostelecom to the interdepartmental electronic document management system (EDO). The company "Informzaschita" announced this on June 23, 2022.

This will allow the provider to make an automated exchange of documents with other members of the EDO. Moreover, the volume of manual entry into the company's electronic document management system is significantly reduced. Now "Rostelecom" will be instantly notified about the delivery of the document to another participant in the system, its registration and the appointment of performers.

NATS specialists connected Rostelecom to the MED system in several stages, which included the design and deployment of an access node to the MED system based on a separate local area network; implementation of the MEDO incoming message routing module, which allows distributing letters for processing in accordance with their assigned confidentiality characteristics; performance of certification tests of the protected room for the operator's AWS; performance of qualification tests of the access unit to the MED system for compliance with the information security requirements of the Russian FSTEC.

MEDO provides secure exchange of electronic messages between, Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, Apparatus of the Government of the Russian Federation federal bodies and government departments state. The system is designed to improve management in the authorities, make it more efficient. Thanks to MEDO, the time for passing documents between organizations and government agencies is reduced. In addition, the use of the system increases the automation of standard workflow and document management processes, which leads to improved coordination of actions of state authorities and departments.
