Rostelecom started Multiskrin service

On February 26, 2015 the Smartlabs company announced availability of Multiskrin service to subscribers of Rostelecom operator since the beginning of 2015. Service allows to browse content on the TV equipped with the Set-top box and personal computers, notebooks, tablets and Smart TV.

Directly the convergent platform of provision of services SmartTUBE SDP and the client applications SmartTUBE UI for prefixes, mobile devices and SmartTV is responsible for work of service.

Users can change randomly devices depending on the desire and continue viewing transfer or the movie exactly since that moment where they "are delivered on a pause".

The Multiskrin service is started after end of the three-months period of test operation. The operator expects that new opportunities of viewing a TV content will increase satisfaction of subscribers, will increase demand of transfers on demand and will attract the audience preferring to use computer and mobile devices. Within a year it is going to expand the list of the supported devices at the expense of smartphones.
