RusHydro removed OpenText software and switched to the Russian electronic document management system

On February 19, 2025, it became known that RusHydro PJSC "" completed the introduction of a domestic electronic document management system, Documino replacing the company's previously used solution. OpenText The new system is used by about 10 thousand employees who perform more than 7 million operations monthly.
According to CNews, the project was implemented as part of the digital transformation and import substitution of the electric power company, which unites more than 600 generation facilities with a total capacity of 38.6 GW.
Galia Fayzullina, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Chairman of the Board of PJSC RusHydro, noted that the introduction of a modern import-substituted solution was made possible thanks to the effective interaction of project teams.
The main aspects of the implementation include the creation of a single system installation for the entire group of companies, integration with the regulatory reference information management platform, automation of data transfer about counterparties and unification of document management processes.
Developed by ID Management Technology, Documentino is designed to manage the content, enterprise data, and business processes of large, geographically distributed organizations.
Elena Baldina, Project Director of ID Management Technology LLC, emphasized the strategic importance of the project and announced plans to connect about 10 new controlled companies of the group of companies to a single installation EDMS in 2025.
The new system has no restrictions on the number of users, stored documents and has the ability to integrate with external services thanks to the universal API. There is also flexibility in choosing a storage system.
The introduction of the domestic electronic document management system allowed RusHydro to ensure independence from foreign solutions and create a single platform for document management in all divisions of the company.[1]
