Croc upgraded multimedia infrastructure of the building Russian CEC

On November 15, 2018 the CROC company reported that it upgraded multimedia infrastructure of the building Russian CEC. According to the company, it allowed to provide the maximum visualization of a voting process on polling precincts across all territory of Russia. Within the uniform voting day on September 9, 2018 multimedia technologies helped to carry out Russian CEC broad informing the population on the course of elections of deputies of the State Duma, the mayor of Moscow, chapters of 26 territorial subjects of the Russian Federation, deputies of legislature of the government in 17 territorial subjects of the Russian Federation.

In addition to participation in work of information center of candidates, members of election commissions and observers, for September, 2018 in the Central Electoral Commission more than one thousand members of the media were accredited. Quickly obtaining information from multimedia screens, they broadcast it for the whole world. Thus citizens could monitor quickly and visually vote worldwide.

Within the large-scale program of digitalization of public authorities before the Central Electoral Commission there was a task to bring work of information center to modern technology level. The multimedia infrastructure which is earlier created by CROC in 2012-2013 ceased to meet the high requirements for display of videographic data without the minimum technical failures. In addition, it was necessary to accelerate work of service of preparation of content, to improve sound quality in the conference hall and meeting rooms, to provide to participants convenient navigation in Commission premises.

CROC installed modern videowalls, LCD and LED screens, implemented audio systems for high legibility of the speech in difficult acoustic conditions, the systems of order wire service for operational interaction of group of preparation of content (slides, the presentations, photo/video), delivered help information booths.

That Members of the Russian CEC, candidates, observers, members of the media could receive quickly from multimedia screens the evident statistics arriving from polling precincts, CROC replaced network and the AV equipment. It increased the output speed and quality of data mapping on screens.

For demonstration through media of the most accurate graphic data in the conference hall the videowall (7 m x 3 m) from tonkoshovny LCD panels of 55 inches with an intelligent system of management was installed. On a digital surface of such wall it is possible to display at the same time different content types (diagrams, live broadcasts from polling precincts, a photo) with soft junctions - effects of mutual imposing of images.

All multimedia surfaces are united in a single system of management. The intuitive interface allows employees Russian CEC in several clicks to bring information to groups of screens, to change scenarios of demonstration of content, to connect participants of a video conferencing, to perform record of actions. At the same time control of the equipment is exercised both on a centralized basis from an equipment room, and locally, from premises.
