"First of all, we plan to digitize works of drama, rare plays, including 18-19 centuries, which are studied by both theater scientists and students of acting and directing faculties. Such publications are often presented in one copy, and are required for study by many students and graduate students. We are glad that now we will have the opportunity to analyze the curricula and gradually draw up a list of the highest priorities for digitizing publications, "- says the Head of the Scientific Library Marina Anatolyevna Zelentsova.

The ELAR PlanScan A2-600  is equipped with an advanced scanning system capable of solving fairly complex  digitizing problems at high optical resolution. With its help, the GITIS library will be able to digitize any stitched, attached and dilapidated documents without the risk of damage to them.

"Digital copies will be placed in our electronic library, for access by students, graduate students and faculty of GITIS," explains Marina Anatolyevna Zelentsova.
