2020: Implementation "1C: Motor Vehicle Management PROF 2.0"

On September 7, 2020 the JSC Russian Post company reported that it implemented the 1C: Motor Vehicle Management PROF 2.0 software product for work automation more than 17,000 units of motor and railway transport. Result of implementation — work of all divisions is standardized, the management reporting is prepared twice quicker, for 60% personnel labor costs are reduced by information input, motor transport housekeeping overheads are reduced, idle times are minimized.

According to the company, in August, 2017 the project on automation of a transport complex of JSC Russian Post started. As the accounting system the 1C: Motor Vehicle Management 2.0 software product, developed 1C-Rarus was selected.

Reducing costs for ownership of personal estate by means of creation of a single system of storage and work with data on all transport complex was a project objective.

At the time of start of the project information on all keyword parameters of work of own AVTO and railway of transport was stored separately and is decentralized: magazines, spreadsheets, self-written programs.

Completion and implementation of the information system "1C: Motor Vehicle Management PROF 2.0" were executed a project team of JSC Russian Post, specialists of 1C-Rarus LLC were attracted regarding consultation on questions of methodology and the principles of work of the solution.

In a work progress the centralized configuration based on "1C: Motor Vehicle Management PROF 2.0" AVTO and railway of divisions which integrated work was created. For 1.5 years of work a system is spread around in 83 head motor transportation divisions and 1,167 points of departure of transport through the whole country.

More than 3,000 employees of the enterprise became users of a system.

In the project progress all transport complex of JSC Russian Post was completely digitized and collecting of the reporting from all motor transportation enterprises in 83 UFPS is automated. The term of preparation and providing the management reporting was reduced twice.

The operational analysis of the management reporting online allowed to reduce costs for transport and made management of more transparent.

Within the project the following works are performed:

  • The uniform business management of own motor transportation enterprise including are created:
    • the statement of waybills for motor transport;
    • the statement of repair sheets for motor and railway transport;
    • accounting of gas stations;
    • accounting of consumption of fuel and lubricants according to the regulations accepted at the enterprise;
    • accounting of repairs by third-party services;
    • accounting of repairs of own cars;
    • a motivational system for drivers;
    • accounting of road accident and the written-out penalties;
    • control of run of own transport using GLONASS system;
    • processes of write-off of motor transport and railway transport.

  • Own Competence Center for implementation and support of the solution "1C: Motor Vehicle Management 2.0" is created.
  • Single solution based on "1C: Motor Vehicle Management 2.0" considering specifics of accounting of motor transport of JSC Russian Post is developed.
  • Replication of projects in 83 branches of the enterprise and 1,250 points of departure of transport is executed.
  • In a system accounting of lifecycle of own 800 cars is implemented.
  • Transactions of receipt and leaving of vehicles in branches are automated.
  • Uniform KPI for all branches on use of own transport are implemented.
  • Reporting processes, including calculations of KPI are automated.

The implementation project and replications of the solution based on "1C: Motor Vehicle Management 2.0" is complete in July, 2019. Result of implementation — a single system of accounting of work of transport in all motor transportation divisions, the management had opportunities of the analysis and control for works of the enterprise. For 60% personnel labor costs are reduced by work with data, the increase in productivity of work of employees is noted. It was succeeded to reduce motor transport housekeeping overheads, idle times are minimized.
