2019: Tests of the Electronic Doctor terminal
On September 6, 2019 Rostelecom reported that together with the Ministry of Health of the Kaluga region announced carrying out pilot tests of a product in the field of health care. The first telemedicine terminal "Electronic Doctor" started working in department of Russian Post in the settlement of Myatlevo of Iznoskovsky district of the Kaluga region.
Residents of the settlement and the next villages can get advice of the therapist, register to him in the subsequent internal acceptance in clinic and also consult for correction of treatment. Implementation of medical booths for online consultations with the doctor will provide availability of highly skilled medical care to inhabitants of rural areas.
