2025: GigaChat Implementation Agreement

Russian Post and Sberbank signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the field of technology. This was announced by the Russian Post on June 19, 2025.

Sberbank will deploy a platform using artificial intelligence (AI) based on the Russian Post. The agreement on strategic cooperation was signed by Andrey Belevtsev, Senior Vice President, Head of the Technological Development Unit of Sberbank, and Dmitry Chudinov, Deputy General Director of Russian Post.

The partners plan to jointly develop, pilot and implement scenarios for the application of the Sberbank neural network model GigaChat for business. Companies will identify the most successful cases for technology implementation. The project is designed to automate processes and improve the Mail client service.

The parties are also working on the issue of embedding AI-services in speech analytics internal and external business processes companies. In particular, we are talking about automating the processing of requests received in. The contact center study also contains the question AIML of using/-models in logistics and tools for automating the processes of incoming and outgoing correspondence.

The Russian Post pays special attention to the issue of technological independence. It is planned to pilot operation of individual components based on the Platform V digital platform, which includes, among other things, comprehensive testing of Russian DBMSs, operating systems, development environments and other solutions in order to assess platform performance, efficiency of IT development production processes, service growth for the internal consumer and customer service quality growth.

Our key task is to make the most transparent and effective service for both Mail customers and within the company. Thanks to the use of Sberbank's technological ecosystem, we can significantly increase the speed of our response to changes, the efficiency of business processes, the quality of services provided and customer assessments. To achieve our goals, we already use machine learning models, including generative models. Together with colleagues from Sberbank, we plan to increase the share of processes in which AI-based solutions and tools will be built, - said Dmitry Chudinov, Deputy General Director of the Russian Post.

The Sberbank technological stack, which includes platform solutions and ready-made tools of generative artificial intelligence, will help the Russian Post to move to a qualitatively different level of business development.
