Russian Post equips the employees with smartphones and mobile cash desks for payment acceptance

On July 7, 2016 Russian Post announced tenders for acquisition of 8067 smartphones[1] and the same number of mobile mail cash registers with the Bluetooth interface[2]. Devices intend for mail carriers and couriers.
The contractor will have to deliver smartphones from the list offered in technical specifications. Enter it Samsung SM-J320, Philips V526, Asus ZenFone 2 Laser Z500KL and Huawei Assend Y6 LTE. All devices work based on the Android operating system.
Total amount of purchase of smartphones - 102.4 million rubles. 6672 devices should be delivered with covers, 1395 more - with covers and car chargers. For mobile Mail cash registers it is ready to pay 216.46 million rubles.
Mobile mail point-of-sale terminals are used by mail carriers for acceptance of payment of utility and other services from the population directly at the place of residence. The project works already half a year, such terminals already use 3.5 thousand mail carriers of ten branches — in the Amur, Volgograd, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kaliningrad, Rostov, Samara regions and also in Kuban, in Adygea and in Kalmykia, - reported TAdviser in Russian Post |
