In January, 2016 Russian Post announced[1] for purchase of licenses of antivirus software due to the need to provide protection of the information systems operated at the enterprise. The maximum price of the contract is about 136 million rubles. Three stages of payment of delivery are supposed: on 33% of total amount in the first two years and 34% - in the third year of use of software.
Purchase includes 118,130 units of antivirus software with validity period three years. One of requirements – existence for an antivirus of the license of FSTEC on technical confidential information protection.
The antivirus is intended for protection of workstations and servers running Microsoft Windows OS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS, the mail systems on the Microsoft Exchange platform and the Microsoft SharePoint servers.
Also means of centralized operation, monitoring and updating of an antivirus which is going to be used in branches of Russian Post and computer center should be a part of delivery. The architecture of management of an antivirus will be a tree structure with top level command center.
Kaspersky Lab does not exclude that her partners will take part in the tender: the company does not participate in tenders and auctions directly, all deliveries of its products are performed through a partner network. Dr.Web did not comment on TAdviser whether its products will be stated on the tender.
At the end of February, 2016 the auction results were summed up. The only application for participation arrived from AMT Group company with which the tender committee recommended to the customer to sign the contract at the maximum price of an auction.
