2024: Equipping the multifunctional hall with audiovisual systems

The X-Com Group of Companies has equipped a multifunctional hall at the Russian University of Cooperation (RUK). The project included equipping the library conference hall, as well as installing interactive stands in the common area. A feature of the implementation was a short time: it was possible to install and configure the equipment in less than a week by the beginning of the school year. As a result of the operation of the hall, high marks were received from the customer. X-Com announced this on December 4, 2024.

The library conference hall is designed for 27 seats at the main table and 4 additional seats, a tribune can be installed during events. The room is used to hold meetings, meetings of the scientific council, submit dissertation work and other university activities related to scientific and educational activities.

The congress system in the hall is built on the microphone equipment of the ITC manufacturer and an intelligent system AEROSPACE FORCES from Yealink with the ability to automatically place cameras on active speakers' microphones. High-quality sound is provided using the company's speaker systems and amplifier Ecler from audio processor manufacturer Qtex. The means of displaying collective use is the LED screen and for monitors duplication on information the tables of participants. Filum cable products were used to connect the equipment.

Opposite the conference room in the library space, interactive stands from the Russian manufacturer NexTouch are installed, they are designed to present information to students about technical publications of interest to them: for example, you can select a book, expand it and scroll through, increasing the fragment that is needed.

The main requirements for the solution were sound quality and intelligibility of speech of both participants in the conference and remote interlocutors during video conferencing sessions, convenient and automated work, automatic installation of cameras on active speakers at the tables, convenience and intuitive control of a complex of technical and software tools. The main installation and configuration of the equipment was carried out by X-Com specialists as soon as possible - only seven days before the opening of the hall. To speed up the work, the training of the university staff took place simultaneously with the configuration of the equipment of the systems. The high level of technical specialists and efficiency made it possible to complete everything on time and receive the highest assessment from the Customer, - said Esilevsky Petr, Head of PRO-AV of the X-Com Group of Companies.
