ElVIS-NeoTech and Avtodor completed a pilot project on observation systems

RUSNANO and Avtodor state company completed in the spring of 2016 a pilot project on check of products of ElVIS-NeoTech RUSNANO portfolio company which was provided by the joint action plan of corporations on implementation of the innovation, including nanotechnology products on objects of road infrastructure.

On section of the highway M4 "Don" near the bridge through the Bitts River on an object of Avtodor operational testings of observation systems of ElVIS-NeoTech company were organized. Video surveillance systems with computer vision were developed in this place, the thermovision locator of the circular overview and also the radar-tracking system of protection of perimeter was set.

During tests it was established that a thermal image system is capable to detect in the automatic mode people at distance of 100 meters, and cars – on 450 meters, in the manual mode – at distances to 400 and 800 meters respectively. The radar had to detect automatically left objects, attempts to throw something through barrier, to detect machines and people at a short distance from barrier.

As a result of implementation of a pilot project of observation system of Elvis confirmed the functional characteristics in actual practice and also expediency of use of these products - for protection of objects of road infrastructure.
