The Russian maritime register of shipping automates accounting

On December 13, 2013 SoftBalance Group reported: implementation of software "1C: Budget Institution Accounting 8" in FAU "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping" is complete.

Project Tasks

On May 8, 2010 became effective Federal law No. 83 according to which FAU "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping" since January 1, 2012 treats autonomous public institutions.

For effective accounting selected the 1C: Budget Institution Accounting 8 software product from new conditions. In the tender of suppliers won SoftBalance Group.

Set the tasks for specialists of SoftBalance Group:

• Transfer accounting of organization and all its divisions from the self-supporting chart of accounts on the chart of accounts of autonomous organization;
• Carry out centralization of accounting in all divisions and representations of the Sea register;
• Consolidation of this accounting of branches across Russia and foreign representations in uniform base;
• Automate process of consolidation of the reporting;
• Carry out integration with an electronic document management system;
• Differentiate access to viewing and editing data.

Project Progress

In an implementation project there were features. For acceleration of adaptation of personnel to the new chart of accounts specialists of SoftBalance Group shifted earlier used accounting transactions to the chart of accounts of autonomous organization.

Presence at FAU "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping" of a set of representations abroad created difficulties:

• Work of users in different time zones;
• Access isolation to data of foreign division.

These difficulties are solved by means "1C: Budget Institution Accounting 8 of edition 2.0". In a system correct work of users in different time zones is implemented. The data access of foreign divisions is resolved only the division and also Head department.

• Uniform technology of conducting accounting and tax accounting;
• User-friendly interface;
• Systematization of input of primary documents;
• Input validation and the notification about errors of input of primary information;
• Systematization of information on objects of accounting;
• Operational information in different aspects which concern a financial structure of the Register of navigation.
• Uniform base of accounting of the Russian Maritime register of shipping;
• Remote connection to base of foreign representations and branches through the Web client and the thin client;
• Control of accounting in all branches and representations;
• Use and the centralized updating of uniform standard qualifiers;
• Control and operational exception of errors in accounting within the organization;
• Good performance of work in the program;
• The centralized service of servers;
• Possibility of receiving up-to-date information on all branches at any moment;
• Formation of the consolidated regulated reporting within all organization;
• The analysis and planning of organization activity on the basis of data retrieveds;

As of December 13, 2013 in a single system of accounting 9 branches and several representations of the customer abroad work, in the course of maintenance new representations are connected, 107 jobs are automated.
