Stute operates the Center of logistics (MWZ) designed and built by own forces for Airbus Deutschland GmbH in this connection it charged to PSI Logistics company to develop the necessary logistic software.

The used software of PSIwms (Warehouse management system), provides timely supply of production of airbuses with the components made at the European manufacturing enterprises Airbus and also delivered from third-party suppliers including supply of airplanes with spare parts.

The MWZ center is in 12 kilometers from the Airbus plant, in the suburb of Hamburg Finkenverder. The PSIwms system installed in the MWZ center exercises control of completely automated warehouse of fine details (AKL) from 50.000 warehouse places of double depth and the complete set of orders integrated by a system, several pallet warehouses equipped with 5000 pallets, numerous special warehouses including for suspended storage of pipes, racks for lengthy parts, console warehouses for easy and heavy lengthy loads, rack and pallet warehouses for elastomers, dangerous loads, bulky goods and a container and also several external warehouse zones located in the territory of the Airbus enterprises. The shuttle transport service managed by Stute thanks to the PSIwms system supplies jobs in assembly shops with necessary component parts from the MWZ center for the principle "from wheels".

The order of order processing allows to plan the delivery schedule of the orders which are depending on delivery dates and also special urgent orders (Aircraft-On-Ground) as soon as possible.

Delivery of products with special requirements

• Multistage complete set of the order and formation of shipping units on the uniform standard circuit
• Formation of ring routes with observance of a certain order of unloading and also sending orders using independent terminals through GSM/GPRS communication channels
• The standard and modified for specific projects interfaces for communication with SAP through the system of "interim documents" of IDOCs (Intermediate Documents)
• The differentiated inventory taking into account existence, batches, dates of production, the minimum storage life, special and consignment funds.
• Functions for display of the performance indicators, accounting and statistics used in management of economy of the enterprise.

Configuration for work in the long mode

The PSIwms system implemented according to the principle the client/server is based on a cluster of high reliability in the mode of a hot reserve.

• Server: 2 x IBM 7028 pSeries 630, with the AIX operating system and a database system of ORACLE
• Clients: 34 machines of IBM-PC (Windows)
• Periphery: scanners, printers (HP, the Zebra), a transmission system of signals (Teklogix) with the mobile transport and portable data terminal, independent mobile terminals
• Contact with the host processor through MQ Series (the API standard from IBM)
• Connection to service computers of PSI company through WAN network
