InStock Technologies on February 8, 2022 announced the completion of the WMS warehouse automation company SVline.

With the development of the company and the expansion of the business, the requirements for accounting accuracy increased and it became necessary to accelerate all processes in the warehouse. You have selected InStock WMS to manage warehouse logistics.

It was necessary to establish accurate accounting of heterogeneous goods, taking into account peculiarities.

According to the merchandise groups, an efficient warehouse topology has been developed during the business analysis. At an acceptance stage the InStock WMS system defines to what group belongs goods and a zone of its placement taking into account all batch signs, dimensions, etc. characteristics.

This project uses the Acceptance Method with sorting by transport and the Acceptance Method in the assortment. With the method of acceptance with sorting by transport, wms gives tasks for sorting goods into pallets by zone, in accordance with need and with storage rules. As a result, only one area is collected on one pallet. InStock WMS controls that the item is not placed on the pallet for another zone. This simplifies and accelerates merchandise placement. One pallet is transported to only one zone.

When accepted in the assortment, goods are accepted for mixed and monopallets. In this method, the system applies placement rules when the pallet is placed.

InStock WMS manages logistics when placing an item. When an employee scans a pallet, the warehouse management system determines the location area or location. After moving the pallet to the placement area, WMS issues tasks to the employees for shipping documentation of the goods in cells. At the same time, the system takes into account weight restrictions in the cells of the second and third floors of the mezzanine.

For all items, the System allows you to upload accurate reports on location and quantity at any time.

After placing orders in the selection, WMS splits each order into selection jobs by selection area.

The goods, taking into account the shelf life, will be reserved for selection according to FIFO, taking into account the minimum residual shelf life. A special method is used when selecting a measured item. The difficulty was that the cable coils are stored in both the takeoff areas and the buffer floor storage area of the cable, and the same cable in the segments can be stored in the common takeoff area of the first tier of pallet racks. Under the control of the WMS InStock, accurate accounting of cable residues is organized.

Using the warehouse management system, consolidation is organized along the route. The system gives the tasks of collecting the boxes of different orders of the route for the pallet, and then moving the pallet to a certain dock. If the employee scans the pallet of another route, the system will prohibit operations with it. In this way, order shipping errors are eliminated under system control.
