Scanning complex in the Sakhalin regional universal scientific library

The Sakhalin regional universal scientific library held open auction on delivery of a full-function complex of scanning. The ELAR corporation became the winner. The amount of the signed contract is 9,418,419.26 rubles.

The full-function complex of scanning of "ELAR" most fully conforms to imposed technical requirements of the customer and will be used for digitization of a meeting of rare fund of library. Further the created information resources will be a part of the electronic directory of Presidential library of B.N. Yeltsin and will be provided to citizens through the system of electronic public services.

Under the terms of the agreement installation of a complex of the automatic scanning of books "Elarobot" allowing to digitize up to 3 thousand book pages per hour with autoprocessing of the received image with the minimum participation of the person is planned. For creation of electronic copies of books with stamping, a relief cover and manifestations of all artifacts of the original on the copy in library the complex of planetary scanning "Elar Planskan of C2", not requiring any additional installations will be equipped. The unique lighting system on LEDs with the minimum impact on the original will allow to scan old books with incomplete disclosure by means of the planetary scanner "Elar Planskan Repro".

It is the second experience of "ELAR" with the Sakhalin regional universal scientific library. Since 2000 the ELAR Planskan 2 scanner which upgrade on a chromaticity will be also performed within the signed contract works here.
