Victor Orlovsky of Sberbank: Our project to implement the BPM system is unique for both the Russian and the global market. In 2010, we began testing the Pegasystems solution, brought this vendor to the Russian market. The solution was liked by the fact that you can start any business process in the system easily and quickly - from a week to several hours, depending on the complexity of the process. This is not even done by the IT user, but by the business user. The BPM system shows the performance of participants and groups included in the process, "bottlenecks" of processes in which something can be improved. Moreover, each participant can compare the effectiveness of his work with colleagues and with his own effectiveness yesterday. The interface is very clear and simple. Nothing needs to be programmed in the system. Because of this, such decisions will have opponents, because programmers must justify their jobs and probably offer something better. We have already tested the system in two dozen processes and are going to develop it in 2011-2012.
Speaking to the audience of the BPM Forum (Business Process Management) in December 2012, LANIT - Bi Pi Em CEO Reimer Denis spoke about the creation of the BPM practice as part of the LANIT group of companies in early 2011, which was based on significant experience of the company's specialists in integration and BPM projects.
Denis Reimer described in detail the LANIT - Bi Pi Em projects on end-to-end automation of business processes in Sberbank of Russia, emphasizing that work is carried out in several processes of three areas at once - in the operational, retail blocks and the legal department of the Central Office of the bank. The first process was put into pilot operation 3.5 months after the start of work, and today part of the processes is at the stage of industrial operation and is being replicated into the territorial divisions of Sberbank of Russia.
The supplier of the platform for projects in Sberbank was Pegasystems, which, according to leading analysts, is the world leader in the field of VRM and Case Management. Reimer praised Pega's unique implementation methodology, platform flexibility and integrity, and the lack of coding in automation.
