On December 19, 2017 the Cloud Computing company announced the project of providing Data8 LLC of cloud resources for ensuring continuity of business processes of retail network "Scrap Metal Dealers No. 1" when conducting works on upgrade of the server hardware.
Project Tasks
The Scrap Metal Dealer No. 1 company addressed Data8 LLC concerning upgrade of the server hardware.
Tasks of the company included migration of all virtual servers on the HyperV platform, providing resource optimization at the programming layer and setup of hardware resources.
Migration was required to be executed on same "iron", but the deployed virtualization platform on Hyper-V.

Suggested to use Data8 LLC cloud capacities as the temporary platform for work without use of the additional hardware and considerable costs.

The solution "cloud on substitution" minimized the idle times of business processes connected with the migration, reconfiguration and other works on the server hardware requiring long shutdowns.
The customer avoided the additional costs connected with purchase or granting the equipment on substitution. Expenses on infrastructure are minimized. The total costs of the customer made ~ 15 thousand rub.
