NORBIT implemented a management system for purchases in "The Siberian generation company"

2019: ERP SAP implementation

On September 24, 2019 the NORBIT company (enters into LANIT group) announced project completion on development and deployment of a management system for purchasing activity at the enterprises of the Siberian Generation Company group, one of the leading energoholding of Russia. The SAP ERP platform is the cornerstone of the implemented solution. The implemented system allowed to increase quality of planning of purchase of material resources and services, to provide transparent information on each stage of lifecycle of materials.

During the project the modules SAP MM (logistics) were configured, PS (projects), SD (is sold) which functionality allows to plan purchase of required materials taking into account the current remaining balance in warehouses. Thanks to a system there was an opportunity in real time to create the requirement plan, to check the budget under a specific action and to reserve a necessary stock. Also implemented solution shows the alternative materials which are present at warehouses and with which it is possible to cover a part of requirements.

A system covers business processes from formation of materials requirement before their write-off, allows to carry out operational monitoring of all business processes of management of purchases and also to create necessary report and printed forms. In a system the reference book of materials and services including the planned prices and delivery dates with viewing analogs is finished. The solution is integrated with the module SAP SRM and other adjacent systems.

The implemented system covers more than 60 organizations in four Russian regions: Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Kemerovo and Novokuznetsk. For September, 2019 more than 3.2 thousand users use the solution. The system including more than 350 thousand positions of the purchased materials helped us to manage stocks and stock balance in real time, noted Andrey Kolesnikov, the associate director on resource provision of "The Siberian generation company"

Prior to works on the project the customer used a separate system in which requirements planning took place in a separation from the ERP system. In a short time the command of NORBIT implemented a system at a large number of the enterprises, including performed migration of necessary handbook and historical data, provided user training.
