In Krasnoyarsk based on the opened infectious hospital for treatment of patients with COVID-19 by specialists of ER-Telecom started the Call key IoT-project. The solution allows patients of clinic to call without contact quickly medical personnel and to receive a necessary assistance. On April 24, 2020 ER-Telecom reported about it.
The system of a remote call of the help to patients was implemented within re-equipment of departments of hospital for acceptance and treatment of the residents of Krasnoyarsk Krai who caught a koronavirusny infection. In chambers of departments (on 60 beds) the "call keys" which are the small round panel with one button which can be fixed practically on any surface were installed.
In case of need patients can cause the emergency help and receive due care almost instantly. The person presses the disturbing button and medical personnel receives the corresponding call. At the same time each button has "address" (No. of chamber, No. of a bed) therefore it is helped as fast as possible and selectively. The signal with a request for the help arrives on the watch/bracelets issued to responsibles and on sisterly posts. Also buttons can be used for control of accomplishment of regular processes – cleaning, an object bypass for the purpose of status monitoring and so forth.
The summarized information by quantity of calls, the reporting and activity undertakens gathers in specially developed web application. Nurses, doctors and the chief physician of hospital can work with it in different options of access.
The instrument of control of work of personnel in the form of statistics of service in "personal account" is provided to the management of medical institution. Data transmission is performed on IoT-network based on LoRaWAN technology. Thanks to it "call keys" can work on the independent power source up to several years.
The solution, first of all, allows to reduce considerably a response time of doctors crisis situations that considerably increases efficiency of assistance and increases chances of rescue at patients.
