SIBGIU equipped 3D - laboratory with the machine equipment

On April 18, 2017 the Softline company announced delivery of machines and the dust removal unit for the equipment 3D - laboratory of the Siberian state industrial university (SIBGIU).

Project Tasks

Scientific initiatives of SIBGIU in development of additive technologies caused making decision by the management of the university on creation of the center of scientific research of fundamental and applied character, rendering services on 3D - to scanning and printing, processing of different materials.

Project Progress

Softline supplied the equipment for an educational and laboratory complex, specialists of the company carried out commissioning. The center is equipped with the milling and engraving CNC machine for high-quality milling and engraving of surfaces of parts and procurements on the plane and in three-dimensional space; the laser machine for an engraving and cutting; the dust removal unit intended for air purification from dust, shaving, sawdust.

The workplace of the teacher with the software of ArtCAM for space modeling is equipped. Specialists of Softline provided training of staff of university.

Project Results

The center was completed with the modern equipment allowing to execute a broad spectrum of works on creation of prototypes of parts and products of different materials. Thanks to it the university had an opportunity to implement the innovation educational programs for development of scientific and technical creativity of youth. Opening at the university of the Center of prototyping and additive technologies will allow us to increase competitiveness in education market, creating all conditions necessary for training of highly qualified technical specialists. In our plans to continue cooperation with Softline in development of capacities of the center and to put four more premises into operation.
