According to the representative of "Automation," smart metal detectors will be delivered to 10 regions, in particular to the Moscow, Voronezh, Kaluga and Penza regions. About 70 such devices will be used in Moscow.

According to a source close to the Central Election Commission, voting takes only three days, in the future the equipment can be used to ensure the safety of schools.

Unlike ordinary frames, smart Automatics detectors can recognize potentially dangerous objects more selectively, for example, respond to knives and pistols, but ignore metal belt buckles, a representative of the concern explained to Vedomosti. The Ministry of Industry and Trade added that these frames can recognize explosives with metal elements. They should also be able to count the number of citizens coming to the site, follows from the procurement specification.

At the request of the customer, temperature measurement and face recognition systems can be introduced into the equipment, although "they are not yet provided for in the current batch," the concern said. In Russia, the leaders in facial recognition technologies are, in particular, NtechLab, Vision Labs and the Center for Speech Technologies (CST). The CST noted that their solution already works at more than 70 transport facilities in the country, but can be applied in other areas.
