Customers: Ammonium AO

Mendeleevsk; Chemical industry

Contractors: Softline

Project date: 2023/07

One of the largest chemical enterprises in Russia, Ammoniy, conducted a successful pilot test of smart helmets that control the well-being and movement of workers. Softline Digital is implementing this project, its press service said in early August 2023.

The system is based on three elements: directly, smart helmets with a radio module, transmitting the signal to the base station, which sends data to the analytical server. In a convenient and intuitive interface, the customer can see the geodata of each employee in real time, which allows him to monitor his presence in hazardous areas, condition, and promptly receive a signal about a dangerous event.

In addition, the system records information about shocks, falls, long-term immobility, temperature in the work area. The functionality of the solution also includes monitoring the presence of a helmet on the employee's head, an emergency call for help, notifying the operator/management of incidents in a convenient form (using instant messengers, mobile communications or e-mail).

As noted in Softline, the integrated complex of the chemical industry of Ammoniy JSC is located in Tatarstan. Due to the specifics of production processes, the company is one of the customers who have special requirements for compliance with the requirements of occupational safety and health, including for moving to hazardous areas and performing work with increased danger.
