2025: Move 1C to ERP Cloud Infrastructure

ITGLOBAL.COM completed the project for Russian software developer in areas medicine and. health care Spora Provider 1C moved the company's system to cloudy Cloud infrastructure ERP. After the migration, system performance increased by more than 30%, and stability increased while maintaining the usual ease of administration. This was announced by ITglobal.com on November 13, 2025.

SPORA is a Russian IT company that develops software solutions for hemodialysis and nephrology. Systems are used in healthcare settings to process patient data and support physicians. For such tasks, the reliability and speed of the IT infrastructure are critical.

Before the transition to the cloud, the 1C system was located on the local infrastructure, which limited fault tolerance and complicated maintenance. SPORA has been working on the issue of transfer for a long time, tested solutions from different providers, but none of them showed the necessary results. At the same time, it was necessary to quickly find a platform that would ensure stable operation under real load.

ITGLOBAL.COM engineers have proposed testing the 1C system on the ERP Cloud cloud platform based on Intel Xeon Platinum 8558P processors. The process included synthetic Cinebench tests, CPU-Z and the Gilyov test, as well as real-load simulation, which confirmed a 23% to 37% performance gain over the original configuration.

In Gilyov's test, the final score was slightly less than 50 points (which corresponds to the level of "wonderful") with 105 users versus the previous 35 points ("good"). The customer could not achieve such indicators at any of the previously tested sites.

After the pilot stage, which lasted about a month, the decision was transferred to commercial operation.

It was important for us not only to save, but also to improve 1C performance, as well as get a fault-tolerant solution. Tests have confirmed growth in key indicators, and the system in the cloud is indeed more stable. We have been moving towards a complete transition to cloud technologies for a long time, so this decision was a logical step for us - now we can focus on the development of our own products without diverting resources to infrastructure maintenance, - said Nikolaev Roman, Information Technology Director of SPORA.

The ITGLOBAL.COM considers the project a significant example of how a well-chosen infrastructure, individual virtualization settings and hardware optimization can improve the operation of corporate applications without changing business logic.

The project with SPORA demonstrates the advantages of our approach to building a cloud infrastructure. We are creating specialized segments within the framework of a common cloud platform, optimized for a specific load. For example, the ERP Cloud segment is built on 5th generation Intel Xeon Platinum processors, which guarantee a base frequency of 3.1 GHz on 32 cores and provide up to 3.4 GHz in All Core Turbo mode when working with resource-intensive tasks. Combined with the complete lack of re-registration of resources, this guarantees predictably high performance for sensitive 1C applications, - commented Evgeny Svidersky, director of the ITGLOBAL.COM cloud business, ITG Corporation.
