Softline certified the state architectural and construction university of St. Petersburg

On June 26, 2018 the Softline company confirmed that personal data protection, processed in an information system of the St. Petersburg state architectural and construction university, conforms to requirements of the legislation. They came to such conclusion, having carried out certification of personal data information systems in university.

Project Tasks

All Russian universities should be connected to the protected data network of the Federal center of testing, FTsT into which information systems data on the course and results of acceptance of entrants are entered. Each three years educational institutions undergo certification of secure channels of communication. The St. Petersburg university state architectural construction – SPBGASU needed to undergo repeated certification of the information systems processing personal data to estimate the level of their security and to confirm compliance to requirements of the regulator.

Project Progress

The command of Softline defined the list of personal data which should be protected, studied processes of their storage and processing, developed model of the violator and model of threats. Protection of data transmission channels according to requirements of FTsT by means of installation and setup of necessary software and hardware tools was provided. Also specialists analyzed the system of distribution of responsibility for fulfillment of requirements by information system protection in university. As a result of works SPBGASU the certificate of compliance of personal data processing to requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation was issued.

Project Results

Certification actions – the most important component of security of personal data of entrants. Their carrying out is obligatory for all universities, and the contractor should be down on to specifics of works and have the corresponding licenses and competences therefore we addressed our old partner, Softline company. 2015

On August 19, 2015 the Softline company announced the project of personal data protection by request of the St. Petersburg state architectural and construction university.

Project Tasks

According to the Russian legislation for all universities connection to the protected data network of the Federal Center of Testing (FCT) and entering into an information system of data on the course and results of acceptance of entrants is obligatory. All personal data which are stored in a system should be reliably protected.

Project Progress

During the project specialists of Softline collected data on software and hardware tools of the customer to define the action plan, necessary for creation of an effective system of protection. After that developed model of security risks and the violator's model, technical specifications on creation of an information security system.

Data protection is provided with installation and setup of necessary software and hardware tools among which - ViPNet, SecretNet, Redcheck and the Sable complex.

After that engineers developed a set of organizational and administrative documentation and carried out evaluation tests. At the final stage the project team approved the selected scheme with the Federal center of testing and executed connection.

Project Results

"As a result of works secure channels of data transmission according to requirements of the Federal center of testing were configured. Thanks to long-term experiment of specialists of Softline on implementation of similar projects we managed to offer an optimal variant of connection to FTsT and to quickly carry out the tasks set by the customer", - Stanislav Gribanov, the sales manager of solutions of Softline company told.
