2022: Delivery of planetary scanner for digitization of archived documents

On June 29, 2022, the Elar company announced that the State Archive of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which is the largest repository of documents of regional history from the beginning of the XVII century. to the beginning of the XXI century, delivered the domestic planetary scanning complex ElarScan S2-800KS for transferring documents of various formats and states into electronic form.

The State Archive Krasnoyarsk Territory stores significant and valuable documents in various industries and areas - these are documents of state authorities, prosecutors, courts, state institutions, organizations and enterprises; local government bodies; religious institutions; collections of periodicals, archival materials of personal origin and individual collections.

One of the important tasks facing the Archive is to expand user access to archival documents, in particular, by developing such a direction as digitization.

The domestic planetary scanner ElarScan S2-800KS has a high-resolution photosensor, with its help the archive staff will be able to digitize in high quality business, books, magazines, newspapers, drawings and other documents with a flat turn, which are in any physical condition. The scanner in contactless mode will create electronic copies of reference quality for both modern and historical materials, papers with jamming, damage and poorly readable text, format up to A2 +.
