Sushi Wok shared the results of the project to automate personnel management and improve the efficiency of cashiers, which was launched in February 2022 with the SteadyControl system. As of February 2023, a third of the points connected to it will grow by 8% faster in revenue and by 4% - on average, bringing half of the sales of topping and drinks in Moscow. This was announced by SteadyControl HoReCa on February 20, 2023.

Digitalization in retail and the HoReCa segment is developing rapidly: 5% of Russian companies have mastered artificial intelligence technologies. In February 2022, the Sushi Wok network joined them: thanks to the SteadyControl human resources control and management system, the company digitized and multiplied compliance with work standards, increased sales of targeted goods and increased financial returns at each stage of service.

The personnel control and management system is based on artificial intelligence and audio and video analytics technologies. Every day, Sushi Wok analyzes compliance with work standards: from labor discipline to compliance with all 7 service steps. So, if the cashier does not systematically greet or misses the drink offer, the SteadyControl algorithms record the incident, and the employee and manager disassemble it in the online platform. Out of hundreds of checks, statistics and dynamics of efficiency are collected in the context of each employee, store or business process.

The Sushi Wok team is actively studying the skills of employees and looking for insights. So, the system helped find a suitable script for the bonus program, which accidentally sounded from the cashier. It turned out that guests reacted best to the phrases: "Name a phone number for a discount" and "Name a date of birth for gifts." The company introduced scripts throughout the network, but only in stores with SteadyControl system there was a multiple increase in new guests. In them, the wording led to a 235% increase in users in CRM - the conversion of this script to registration reached 91%.

This case once again proves that without stable control, working on standards does not make sense. Revenue growth due to active sales is one of the key results of work on the efficiency of cashiers. At this stage of work, the cost of the SteadyControl system pays off 2.5 times. Marketing strategies reach consumers and guests receive the service in full - this confirms the growth rate of the average check, which is 4 percentage points ahead of points without a system. It is curious that the lag in revenue of stores without a system increases monthly.
