On Svyatogor (UMMC) Orwell-R radar Station for protection of objects works

In JSC Svyatogor (the enterprise of a metallurgy sector of UMMC) the Radar-tracking system of protection of perimeter and the territory of objects of Orwell-R (radar station) of production of JSC ElVIS-NeoTech is implemented.

"The main purpose of this complex – the round-the-clock control over the territory of the industrial platform of JSC Svyatogor and to approaches to it", - the head of department of information security of JSC Svyatogor Amirov Victor told. "The complex saves working capacity in any operating conditions (a rain, snow, a frost, etc.). The uniqueness of Orwell-R radar Station is that she is capable not only to detect moving targets, but also using software processing operations of information to classify them (the person, group of people, the vehicle), to trace movement routes, to define location, speed and the direction of the movement".

On the industrial platform "Svyatogora" a system monitors movement of objects on a significant area, thereby provides protection from the unenclosed territory.

Representatives of UMMC Holding and also heads of security services of the enterprises of UMMC already got acquainted with work of the station.

A system works in a complex with the surveillance cameras mounted on the industrial platform of the enterprise. It considerably expands systems capabilities.

The radar Orwell-R complex in the automatic mode makes detection and maintenance of the purposes at distance to 3,000 m, guidance on them of video cameras also saves information on all disturbing events.

Installation of equipment of radar station at the enterprise and laying of communications was executed by forces of JSC Svyatogor with the assistance of specialists of Krasnouralsky section of UGMK-Telecom LLC.
