Taurus Bank implemented QBIS

The Banking Information Systems (BIS) company announced project completion on implementation of the centralized automated banking system in Taurus Banke (the former name — Chelyabkomzembank).

In the summer of 2011 the management of Chelyabkomzembank made the decision on carrying out rebranding. The bank which was successfully working at financial market since 1990 received a new name — Taurus Bank. According to shareholders of bank, further development required significant updating of information systems. In Taurus Banke, being the old partner of "Banking information systems", considered correct to continue cooperation with large-scale integrated circuit company.

So, earlier in bank the information system "Biscuit" which well proved in practice it was implemented and became the reason that the management Taurus Banka gave preference to solutions of large-scale integrated circuit company again. After in September, 2011 the relevant agreement was signed, in Taurus Banke works on implementation of the centralized core banking system were carried out. Now implementation is successfully complete, operation of TsABS in an operating mode, says the large-scale integrated circuit began.

As noted, cooperation between Taurus Bankom and large-scale integrated circuit company will be continued. Now there is a preparation for opening of Taurus Banka branch in Moscow, and opening of branch in St. Petersburg is planned for 2012. Both of these branches along with opening will be also connected to the centralized core banking system implemented in bank by specialists of the large-scale integrated circuit.
