2025: Creation of a BI system based on Yandex DataLens

QSOFT has built a business analysis and reporting system based on Yandex DataLens for Taxi 369. The project was aimed at automating and systematizing data collection, as well as improving key business processes through the integration of modern analytical tools. Qsoft announced this on February 18, 2025.

The customer faced the problem of operational control over the implementation of planned indicators in various areas of the business. The situation was complicated by the presence of many databases, from which information was collected manually several times a day. To solve this problem, Taxi 369 turned to QSOFT with a request to replace the Tableau BI system with a domestic analogue and finalize the functionality to ensure effective collection of information and build an analytical system. Now reports are updated automatically, and generalized statistics are regularly sent to the telegram channel for operational monitoring by managers.

While working on the project, QSOFT conducted an audit of data the customer's databases and identified problems with the lack of a flexible tool for analyzing revenue reports. The scripts used in the company created many duplicate tasks that overloaded the system and slowed down the process of outputting the necessary information. QSOFT proposed a new project architecture and prepared dashboards to track the company's performance in real time. DataLens was chosen as the visualization tool Yandex integrated , with an analytical database, which ClickHouse made it possible to effectively work with large amounts of information and build multi-level reports.

Every day, the company's employees interact with various systems. For example, the Yandex Fleet professional tool is used to manage the taxi fleet. In addition, staff regularly fill out reports on planned indicators to compare them with actual results. QSOFT has configured integration with all the company's databases, including 1C Element, Yandex Fleet, Yandex.Disk and others. All information is automatically uploaded, processed and structured to generate interactive reports that clearly reflect the dynamics of processes. Airflow automates ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) and task management. As of February 2025, the customer is developing its own CRM system, so in the future it is planned to integrate data exclusively with this platform.

The developed BI system has become a single window of access to analytics and reporting, giving users complete control and transparency of data. It supports detailed analysis with the ability to compare plan and actual indicators. Automatic collection and structuring of information significantly reduces the time required to process routine tasks and improves decision-making efficiency.

Within the framework of the project, more than 14 dashboards were created, with the help of which users can analyze over 30 different parameters. Reports are formed based on the structure of the company - by subsidiaries and branches, and access to data is regulated by the role model.
